I am also depressed. It is a challange but you have got to keep going. Try to understand why you are not happy. You don't want to end your life, you probably want to change it, and that is a big difference. Think of what your life would be like if you could be happy, and I'm not talking about being a celebrity or something. you mentioned music. Well if you were a rock star why would that make you happy? Because you'd feel important, respected, you'd have an exciting life? What ways could you feel that way without necessarily being famous? You say girls love you. Well maybe you are more the type to be with one girl, not girls. Go to a doctor, medications can help a great deal. I hope this helps you.

There must be something else bothering you. There is no reason to end anything! You are a special person and needed in this world! Music is awesome, isnt it? It helps with dealing with feelings, etc. I listen to different kinds of music, depending on what kind of mood I am in.
You arent on any kind of antidepressants are you? They will have that kind of effect. You shouldnt take them, if you are.
I wish I could say more for you. Just try and deal with each day one at a time. Try to locate the reason you are feeling this way and take it from there. There is no reason to end your life. I am sure you are very loved by many people! Good luck sweetie

When I get depressed I think about my cousin. She has Lupus and lived with it for over 20 years. She never complained and always had a smile on her face and a good work for everyone. When I compare my problems with hers I see how lucky I am. I also have this philosophy: If this is the worse thing that has happened to me and I compare it the the rest of the world then I am pretty lucky. That thought always makes me feel better. Getting involved in a church, club, or community work (especially working with children) helps you see that you are needed and loved. (please don't listen to sad music, it will only make it worse) Music is great, but make sure it is upbeat and positive.

Your depression has nothing to do with your circumstances and how well your life is going. It is a chemical imbalance in your brain. This can now be proven thru various tests. You need to see a doctor so he can put you on antidepressant medication. I went thru this about 10 years ago and my only regret was waiting so long to get on the medication. It saved my life. There are wonderful meds out there with no side effects. Please consult your doctor regarding the medication.
