I get those sometimes too, when I stand up. I read somewhere that it is from the stretching of the muscles and stuff.

During pregnancy we can't just hop out of and into bed like we used to. Swimming is always a good exercise when your pregnant but not if youare too agressive with it. Have you been going to your doctor regularly? I would suggest you talk to your doctor immediately. Your life and that of your babies is nothing to take chances with. This website has a lot of people giving their opinions and some of them are educated. Some are not. This is not the place to get the best answer. Your doctor knows you best at this point. You probably filled out the background paperwork on you and that of what health conditions run in your family. Blood tests etc. Your doctor can also ask you more in-depth questions about recent diet habits, how hard you exercised, how frequent etc. So don't delay see your doctor today. If you don't have one or haven't seen one do so right away.

I would talk to your doctor about it. I am now 27 weeks and had a sharp shooting pain and was told it was probably just ligaments stretching out... which IS USUALLY the case... but my doctor actually found that I have a hernia... and although it's not really a big deal right now, it is good to know what it is so that they can keep an eye on it in case any issues arise.
Congrats and best wishes to you and the baby!

It is probably just ligament pain. I would not worry about it and bring it up at your next visit. It might also be the relaxin in you body settle your pelvis causing the pain. This is normal and ggod it means your body is getting ready for delivery buy loosing up. Swimming is a wonderful exercise when pregnant so keep it up and enjoy your pregnacy it all passes so quickly. Congrats.

could be from swimming and it could just be ligament strain from the added weight.
there is a V section on your lower abdomen that can experience pain around this time. it's your ligaments stretching and getting used to the weight of baby and uterus.
i never had this, but my dr discussed it with me anyway, so i wouldn't freak out in case i felt the pains.
i would definitely mention it at your next visit and keep track of where the pain is and how often you experience it.
take care!

its your round ligaments stretching. It hurts like holy hell, but generally passes. I had them for like 8 hours straight the other day. Hurt like a mofo.
The next day the ones that attatch to my pelvis were stretching, those were sharp and uncomfy.
For me the worst is the muscles on top of my belly... like from my sides and ribs... those hurt the worst as they stretch.
Iam 23 weeks, went to the doctors for it, thought something was wrong. BUt turns out its nothing, and perfectly normal. Just a part of your body changing when it runs out of room inside.

I'm almost 26 weeks also. It's nothing to worry about. You probably stood up too fast and stretched some ligaments. It happens to me all the time. Just stand up slowly from laying down and/or sitting.

Have a chat with your doctor or midwife about this, although it is probably normal; there's lots of discomfort involved with growing a baby- because all your organs and things have move around to accommodate for the baby.
I wish you all the best for the future with your pregnancy and the baby once (s)he is born.

You most likely pulled a muscle in your lower abdomen. But when was the last time you had sex too? This could have caused the discomfort also.
