My son's friend joined the U.S.M.C. and was in training for 6 weeks then discharged with a dishonorable discharge. He will not explain the reasons, but, I suspect he was belligerant. Anyway, I am not fond of him, and ashamed my son woud associate with him. However, I do believe he still has a right to earn a living, but, no one will hire him. Is there anywhere he can go to get help with employment?

Sounds like he's going to have problems all his life - let it go, it's his problem if he can't get his head out of his a$$.
No-one is going to hire someone with a bad attitude and no respect for authority no matter what. If you want to help him than tell him to help himself out of this situation.

Go to the unemployment ofice. They supposed to help everyone, no matter what your backgrond is. It is not just for getting unemployment paychecks. You may not qualify for that. But, you do qualify for job assistance.
