You'll eventually be put in front of that choice but it's too early for that.
It will happen when the amount of muslims in the country will be such that what is now the ruling class will be a minority or when the government will be so weak to allow for a take over.
And if you think that's utopic you need to think and how many of them are immigrating, how fast they reproduce and how intrusive their religion can be in other countries. I hope you don't think you represent an exception.
Just a matter of time.

After all, it's in the US that a secretary was laid off by her muslim boss because she was eating a sandwich with salami (pig is forbidden as you know)

Also, if you look at what's happening with Hispanics, Viva la Raza and the issues in California....you should begin to wonder what could happen with muslims.

Imagine a world where everyone was threatened with death because they did not believe in the Santa Claus.

Everyone knows that it doesn't exist, but holds on to the possibility that it does and behaves according to what the society's elite defines as proper behavior because they might get a shot by the CIA instead of finding a useless doodad placed by expert government infiltrators every December 25th.

Religion is just another form of totalitarianism. No one should, and quite frankly no one CAN be forced to "believe" in another person's god. They would only go through the motions so they aren't killed.

Just because someone is schizophrenic and hears voices or honestly believes their particular delusion is somehow intervening in their life doesn't mean that we should put this psycho on a pedestal and listen to their insane ramblings. But we're humans. We're apes with large memory and planning portions to our brains, and comparatively smaller logical portions to our brains.

We anticipate based on the wildest possible circumstances. Then we start to believe in those wildest circumstances. And from these wildest circumstances, with no proof or pattern to them, we derive ideas such as "the best way of living" or come up with a story to describe how the world came into being. Sometimes, in the face of better explained reasons for a certain thing, we scoff and stick to what is stuck in the depths of our memories from what we were constantly told as children. We are conservative thinkers, with great difficulty progressing beyond what we were told by people we respect.

It is dangerous for the world to convert to Islam. The religion itself is very progressive, it changes constantly. The religion today is not what it was 100 years ago, 200 years ago, or 600 years ago. Whoever holds the reigns of power is free to dictate what applies to the religion.

Just as the Dead Sea Scrolls were not included in the Christian bible, despite the fact that the same circle of people wrote them, because they went against their power base. 4 gospels out of 80 were chosen, because they best reflected the passions of those in the hierarchy of the Church. Gospels that inspired women, or gave rise to the notion that in the end, all human souls, even those in hell, would eventually be saved, were rejected because they compromised too much power of the male elite.

Today, we reject those verses that say women are men's property and that slavery is a good and necessary thing. We can wear mixed fabrics without fear of getting stoned to death by our peers. What would have happened if it went the other way, and instead, things were rejected? What if Islam progresses that way, such that in the end, one grand Ayatollah is given all the power and the world is his slave?

No, forcing a particular religion, particularly one as with as many missing pieces as the Judeo-Christian religions (including Islam) would be downright dangerous. Osama bin Laden may think he's doing the right thing, but if it were turned on him, and he were made the slave of someone else, or faced death for violating a different interpretation of the same text, he'd change his mind quickly.

Many continue to speak of how Islam is nothing more than another form of religion. That as an infidel (non believer of Islamic faith) who refuses to convert has nothing more to worry about than the sparse diatribe of common rhetoric. Yet every nation has become aware of how many Muslims are within their borders and their cries which all of them one day foretell…submit, convert or die. Keep ignoring what is being placed before you and you to may find yourself sitting on a prayer rug. Remember how the world ignored Hitler as well? Until it was to late and everyone in the world had to stand and fight or submit and die. The only thing different about Islam are their lack of uniforms in which to identify their martyrs.

We are Americans and we will not be forced into anything. They may try but it won't work. Christians took Rome's heat and the daily oppression of the secular world, we can handle Osama.

No one, anywhere, should be forced to convert to anything other than what they believe. In the US or abroad, I mean anyone.

Osama would love it if we were puppets who do his every wish & whim, as G Bush loves it when his puppets do...
And extreemist on an old video tape from a cave in a far country has no affect on me...sorry!

You had to ask this question? Osama is a coward and an idiot. Of course the obvious answer is no.

No one should ever be forced to cultivate faith in a given religion - be it Islam or Christianity! It is not the true religious spirit!

America is about freedom of religion. If we all HAD to convert to Islam, we wouldn't be living in America any more.

If the anti-war crowd gets their way, we may just end up doing that. Then I hope all the women's libbers enjoy their burkhas and me being their new husband who will force them to have sex at weird times and places, hey, under islam I am the man. Then after I have used and abused them I will divorce them the islamic way "I divorce you", and kick them to the curb. Just for fun I could accuse them of adultery and all the town can have a nice stoning.
