I am dating my overall boss in my company. I had a interview last week for new position inside my company, but in a different division. After the interview, my boyfriend (the overall boss) and I went out for dinner. Then the people who interviewed me, they saw us. Of course, nobody supposes to know we are dating… as he is married but devoicing at the moment. My interview went really well (I think). The people interviewed me , they are good work colleges with my boyfriend. Have been seen together, not it will be a positive thing for the new job… or ??? help please? Thanks.

Oh dear, really bad situation. You need to back right off until he actually gets his divorce. Dating your boss even if he wasnt married is not real good. What if you have an arguement, what if you meet someone else that you would prefer to be with. You could end up losing your job....It happens all the time in situations like yours. I suggest, if you want to continue dating your boss, then you need find a job elsewhere. It can only lead to disaster....not for him, but for you. You are taking one huge risk.

Not a good idea to date the boss. Find a job in a different company or dump him. People may think, if and when they find out, that you are dating him to get ahead on the job. You are in a compromised position.

Dating your boss is never a good idea. Since he's still technically married, that's not good either. But it's done. You've been seen. I suggest you do a wait and see. If you're serious about your career, put the boss-boyfriend on hold until you're in a different division, and his divorce is final. If he truly cares about you, he'll understand.

Well, dating the boss, who is still "kind of married" isn't such a good idea....but anyway, if you are rightfully and skillfully qualified for the job, there is no reason you should worry, or feel like it is just because of who you are dating that you get this position.

Be careful where the two of you dine, in the future.

I don't think much of your 'boyfriend' who is still married and cheating on his wife. And they all say they're getting a divorce - it never happens. And would you really want a guy like that? If he'd do it with you, he'd do it to you. And I don't think much of your way of getting a job. If you get this one, you are going to have all kinds of problems, and in no time at all, you will have to get another job. So go get another one now, and save yourself a lot of heartaches.

You must be nuts or maybe you don't want to keep your job very badly. Never, Never, Never get involved with you boss. It will always end with you losing in the end. I hope you didn't get yourself into something that will be too much for you to handle.Good Luck, your gonna need it.

I think you know that this will be a bad thing. People are always going to be jealous if you are close to someone who is above them. Be prepared for rumour and you'd better hope nobody tells his wife. Although they are divorcing this could cause alot of trouble for you and him.

You better be careful what you do, one of those so called good friends could let his wife know and you never know how she will handle it. You need to walk away from this, jobs come and go.
