Have you got a really complicated address? Like in a block of flats or something?

Talk to your neighbours and come up with a clearer way of writing your address and give it out to all the people who are sending you mail.

Also, talk to your postman if you can catch him in the morning. Get to know him, get him to know you. If he knows you by name and where you live, he'll know where the mail goes.

I've had this, the only thing i could do was note the time and day the postie came (as we had about 3 that took turns) and make a complaint through the royal mail website. Not alot happened, apart from the posties got the sack (or moved) and we ended up getting a new one, who so far has done exactly what they were supposed to.
The sorting offices I have found are full of jumped up little posties who have been oiked off the street for being crap, and they all seem to have an attitude towards the general public, actually, just like the post offices!! Round here at least! But make a complaint through the website or on the phone and you get a proper person!
Good luck!

for my section i imagine outstanding is the incorrect thanks to bypass about this. they could have grievances, and thats truthful adequate, yet its the traditional public that are suffering maximum as a effect, and we may be able to do not something about how a lot they are paid or what advantages they get and so on. in spite of the actual undeniable reality that i imagine they did have public sympathy before everything, they have lost this now, and that i imagine there are in basic terms some left who will help them. The stupid difficulty is that its in basic terms causing them extra complications. Royal Mail position self belief in organization undergo make their funds, they get little from deepest submit. in spite of the undeniable fact that, many businesses are bored stiff with the strikes negative their organization and are switching to option companies. they are very not likely to change again! So, with each and every strike Royal Mail lost extra funds, and its negative them heavily. With a lot less funds coming in, they could't pay the staff extra, and its likely extra artwork force will easily get laid off. on the worst it would want to cripple Royal Mail to the point it may't get well, and thats not likely to assist each person operating for them. i will't see how the postmen imagine its a sturdy theory to strike, its self defeating, and they are going to pop out worst of this difficulty. in the experience that they have got actual complications, then they might want to bypass and discover different jobs, its compared to there are not any obtainable! Thats what everybody else does even as they are unhappy with their jobs.

If he is the best, then that says it all. I sympathise ive had terrible probs with the Royal Mail in the past........basically parcels were getting broken into and contents removed and stuff just vanished off the face of the earth! Even Recorded delivery items too.

Speak to the Postman - maybe he has developed bad eyesight or is under stress at work or at home. If he does not know that he is doing it, how can he correct his mistakes. If he shows no interest in your complaint, record details of mis-deliveries and make an official complaint to the Post Office Head Postmaster in your area with details of your records..........

i found out, some postman cant be bothed to go next door if they have 1 letter to post, so they post it with your mail, thats what my bf's postman do,

plus if you do get other peoples mail, you can write on the env return to sender and put it back in the post box, if you get other peoples mail at your address, you can write not at this address,

Sounds like he's an idiot. I used to work in a sorting office so I can vouch for the fact that a lot of postal wokers are just plain thick. Not all of them, but a lot of them. Others just don't care. If he's one of the best then what must the others be like??

hes their best cos he is the quickest and always delivers all of the mail and never returns any to the sorting office , purely because he shoves the mail through any letter box he can find.
