Most of these companies are only thinking of their profit margins and not what is best for the consumers. When one of these companies has a contest, especially the ones like "look under the cap" or "look under the wrapper" to win, think of how much of that product they are selling, because people want to get that magic wrapper or cap. And with the profits from just those increased sales during the contest they can buy whatever item they are giving away. It's a win win situation for them.

I think that big prizes may attract more customers than having steady, lower prices.
