the songs are great. i watched it again the other day and cant get them out my head. iv downloaded all the songs. its just so good.
i also feel i must point out i am straight and its about the only musical i do like.

Wow, I think I watched that ages ago on Sky 1 - I thought it was awesome but sadly can't remember any of the songs!

I haven't really watched much of Buffy, but I abosolutly ADORE the musical episode! I even went out and bought the CD and I know the words to all the songs now...lol! I even find myself humming them sometimes- they should so make it into a stage show. This episode made me want to watch more of Buffy, and so I have been watching it on Sky1 more. It's gotta be the best episode.

Definitely one of the best, if not the best - great musical numbers, funny as hell, great single episode story, and massive advancement of the back stories as well. Total winner. In fact I might go home and watch it again tonight!
Hush is good too, and the second and third last episodes in season four have always stood out for me.

I am a huge fan of Buffy but I have to be in the right mood to watch that episode. My favorite, personally, is Hush.

Every Buffy episode was the best....but the musical was great....I actually own the cd!

you're not the only one! i love that episode, i actually have the sountrack, its totally great. a lot of musicals are really long, have crappy songs and are kinda boring, but out of the blue comes this! the complete opposite of all three things i listed. o and i have a friend, hes not gay and he too loves this episode. :)

i have to agree with you on this one, i loved it too. ive seen that episode about three or four times and my particular favourite song is the one with xander and anya when anya is spinning xander on a chair.
