Just wondering how often this has occurred. It is sad but I am sure it does happen.

It happens all of the time. And it is so sad how people can judge you because of your situation.

Settling is something that a lot of people do, whether they want to admit it or not. They may not settle for all of the same things but it is called compromising.

Unfortunately, we compromise the wrong things.

Sure it happens. Some marry on the rebound. Personally I became married after a difficult breakup and mistakenly took comfort for love. So I guess in a way I settled and that being said, settling usually does not work out in the long run.

i did not, but there was a time when i thought i might, when i was giving up hope. luckily i didn't and found the person i love, but i know people do this sometimes. i have a wonderful friend who is doing this. i don't think she loves him and he doesn't treat her all that well, but she figures she's already put so much time into the relationship she might as well get married. very sad

as many have stated grass will continuously seem greener relatively in case you and your husband are having issues. You point out he has moved out so are you asking us if that would condone you getting with this chap on the nighttime out? you assert you may in no way be untrue this is vast yet are you able to help your self? I recommend you cancel going this nighttime and ask your husband to return around and then talk approximately getting yourselves regarded after out relatively than dreaming approximately yet another guy! Having a overwhelm on yet another guy is one difficulty - appearing on this is rather yet another

I feel like I did that myself, but I'm getting a divorce now. I'm trying to learn to be happy by myself so that when I do find the right man, I'm not settling.

Don't want to die alone, but wouldn't want to put myself thru torture by marrying someone I am incompatible with either.
