yes should expect it but not all the time!! remeber its not really the same as when u first got together and were experimenting!

Also a recent bit of research found that women are less likely to want sex in a long term relationship as they are more secure, whereas men are less worried about security and more into the physical side of relationships

No it shouldn't be a big part but it should be a part of the relationship. All relationships aren't built on sex and if you try to build your long term relationship on sex then its possible that your relationship will colapse. So take your time with the sex. When both of you are ready then it will be even better because you won't be having sex, you'll be making love. And once that happens then the sex thing will fall into place. So just let it happen naturally.

Yes it would be wrong. Both have to be willing. If one fills pressured the relationship could crumble. Sex should not be the big thing in ones relationship. Its better to enjoy being envolved with each other without the sex. That what builds a lasting relationship. Plus think about if a baby comes along. Then you will both be together forever in one way or another. Because a child has parents for life.

Sometimes ppl get lucky and have an eternal attraction but I kind of think it's the norm to move on from the honeymoon phase. Guys take that personally, they think if the sex isn't as wild or frequent as it was at first then it's about them. But it really isn't, that's why you get to have a honeymoon. Get it out of the way and get back to normal otherwise you can't concentrate on your job or whatever. Of course a couple weeks isn't long enough but employers don't allow one year to get over your infatuation with each other.

When the sex is over it doesn't mean the relationship is over. It means you're ready for the next level of committment. Read up on it and find out the stages then move on as you flw the formula. You might be surprised to find you like the next levels and it's even possible that is what contributes to a renewed interest. You can't live on love forever kiddo and that's what is meant by that.

When you in a relationship it should be stated at sometime what is expected of your partner. Also what you will or won't do, and fufuture goals. Ask question like do you want children, Do you plan to wait till marriage to have sex?
It would be good to know if your partner goals in life match yours, if not then you are just wasting time.

I don't know if is should be a big part, I it should play at least a small role. The intimacy gained from being with someone is healthy for any relationship.
