Oh, without doubt it's nearly impossible to get out of your head once started. Probably something to do with the fact I can never remember how it ends, so I keep having to go around in circles... then my wife joins in... then my baby daughter starts laughing at it...
No, don't even try. You're on the right track - try and infect as many other people as possible.
Is there a world record for the number of people simultaneously singing "Mahna Mahna"?

I feel your pain, but it's no good - it's now lodged in my brain with "Billy Don't be a Hero"! Arrrrrrrggghhhhh!!!! The noise! Quick, someone play me some Barry Manilow - Neil Diamond - even Celine Dio - that's better, I can hear the voices in my head again. Phew.

There is only one way to get it out of your head. You must do the following with no interruptions IN EXACT SEQUENCE in less than a minute:
1. Balance a potato on your right foot.
2. Raise your right foot six inches and keep the potato on the foot without holding it there or anchoring it there with any foreign object like tape.
3. Say these words three times: "Nice potato nice potato nice potato be good to me you nice potato."
If you do it the song will be out of your head.
