That is a good standard, and I believe that you are one of the few women that understands the proper use of the stuff. I will never understand people who bathe themselves in perfume. I had to stop going to one of my favorite bars because of one woman who would inevitably show up there after work. You could always smell her before you saw her. And within ten minutes my throat would begin to constrict and I would have difficulty breathing. I wanted to grab her and tell her that the tiniest drop of an expensive perfume would do the trick. But I knew that if I ever touched her that I would never be able to wash away the smell.

Put a moderate amount of cologne or perfume on the underside of your forearms. Just enough for a slight passing whif. About a 3 foot range is best. If only kissers smell it, why bother?
It is best to put it on the underside of your forarms. As you wash your hands it won't come off. If you should happen to get in a romantic entanglement of some kind, those who put it on their face and neck really taste bad. NO ONE will lick the underside of your arm. It's a safe place and will last.
Safety first, I always say!

I have quit wearing it unless it is a special occasion. I have friends and family that have allergies to most of the chemicals that they use in perfumes. If I do wear it only the people that get close to me can smell it.

Someone shaking hands should be able to get a slight whiff.
If people can smell you before you get in the room or for an hour after you've left, you're wearing too much!

None is best. If you want a scent just dab a bit of vanilla on instead of using perfume.

Yeah. I hate being somewhere and the person next to me reeks. If I think " Hmmm...Chloe", then they have on too much! I hate those alcohol body sprays too. They all smell bad, like the magazines with samples...they all stink the same!
I like essential oils. I hate man-stink colognes too.
Air freshener- I like Orange Magic.
