I have promised to take a friend to see the Lion King. The tickets seem really expensive on-line even for the 'bad' seats. Is it worth waiting til the last minute?

It's for the London performance on a Saturday in October.

If you're specific about the day and show there's not a lot you can do really. If you're not worried Leicester square sells last minute tickets for 1/2 price ish.

Check out Ebay - people are always trying to sell tickets on there because they cant make the show. Alternatively look up London 2for1 on the internet - one of their offers may be Lion King. When you do go and see it, check out the Giraffes and Elephants - totally amazing!
