Do you think prisoners deserve to be sexually abused and beaten up in prison? I know they are crimminals and have done wrong but do they really deserve that?

I think all people should be treated with dignity and respect. It doesn't matter if they are in prison or not. Prisoners should be treated with more care so that they can rehabilitate knowing that they can or are able to respect others. This is an integral part of their transformation into become a positive member of society. The way things are going now, the prisoners come out worse than before. But how to change that is far too big of an issue for me to even attempt answering.

I do not think that any person deserves to be sexually, physically or mentally abused in any way. What needs to be remembered when you refer to prisoners is that these people have violently abused others. Two wrongs dont make a right however I also do not feel an ounce of sympathy for them. For example, if it was my childs rapist sitting behind bars and I hear that he gets raped in prison. I honestly don't think i would be terribly upset about it.
I think that our justice system is outdated and inefficient when dealing with criminals. I believe that a criminal is not an abnormal part of society but the product of an abnormal society.

Getting sexually abused and beaten up in prison is not good. If somebody gets badly hurt it will take the prison doctors about 2 weeks - a month to help them. The guards, doctors or anybody else don't care much about the criminals so they wont care if somebody gets injured. This could risk the disease of AIDS to spread, germs, bacteria etc. Violence should only be tolerated when a prisoner doesn't obey the rules in prison. Sexual Abuse is not right no matter what!

I would say it depends on the reason that they are in jail in the first place.
If they are there because of some petty crime (like non-violent theft of a small nature, perhaps to feed their family), then no they do not deserve to be sodomised and beaten up.
However, if they are there for violent crime such as murder or rape, then I say they fully deserve it. Especially since many who are released, go out and do the same thing again and again.
I heard that when criminals who are locked up, discover that one of the inmates is a child molestor, then they would put a blanket over him and kick him to pieces...

'whatever' is correct - you misspelled 'criminals'. At least your question is intelligible.
No, prisoners should not be treated that way. Once incarcerated, a prisoner becomes a ward of the state, and should be afforded protections from same. Looks like the prison system in South Africa is in the same pristine condition as the rest of the country.

Someone may say yes if it is not his/her relative but truly they dont deserve to be abused those people are still human beings and still deserve alittle bit of respect

underage drinking - no

i don't think they do its just mean, but my uncle who was a police officer told me that rapists, especially ones who raped little girls, they get it the worst coz if the other prisoners find out about what happened, they have no mercy on them
