1st thing you do when you get in lounge is check small windows in options box.once in room expand it to see chat area.you only see half of cards but you can still play.
you need java for games,but not to open them,if you have microsoft VM. go to control panel open internet options advance tab,scroll down to see if microsoft vm is there if so unclick the 2 java listed. Make sure JIT is checked, click apply then ok. close.this lets msn vm launch games. this will SPEED UP game loading time

It has something to do with your pop up blocker.. which I am having trouble with also! You have to turn off the blocker or allow yahoo games.
