I have a undergraduate degree in art, anywho she always looked up to me. After school we were both working temp jobs. I continued working temp jobs and she got a job in jewlery through a temp agency, which has ended up turning into her career. Anyways I continued working temp jobs and started taking night classes, I have been taking night classes for about a year and a half, and am currently applying to Graduate schools for Accounting. Anyway, I guess she's really upset that I'm not trying to stick it out until I get a dream job like her anymore. I've tried to explain to her that I want a more stable life, and will do whatever I can to get that. Anyway she hasn't been talking to me since we had this discussion, and it just makes me feel bad I'm the same person I'm just trying to make a better life for myself. I really do love her and care about her as a person, but I feel like she doesn't care about me anymore because I've changed. What should I do?

u are your own man, u choose to go independent, good on u, u r maturing as a man. if u do good in the future at the path u have chosen then that will sat up as a testimony to her. let her be & let her come to term that she can't & shdn't make life decision 4 u & no one shd except yourself. u go 4 it, don't let anyone hold u back. i was tempted by ex-workmate to leave my longtime employment but i stick in & now i surpass some in career achievement. God bless & peace, man

A true friend would support your decisions, especially the ones where you are trying to better yourself. If she doesn't like it and doesn't want to continue the friendship you are better off. Sometimes you need to be a little selfish in life. No one is going to take care of you except you. Good luck with your new career.

You really need now to do what is best for you. It's clear she doesn't care much about your decisions and she doesn't support you.
