If we're talking about a village without any technology, life is much simpler. People have to create their own forms of entertainment.

The government system is much simpler where they'll have an elder. Since it's a smaller community, there isn't as much crime and there's no need for a full fledged police force.

Clothing and attire is more simple since there aren't any professional seamstresses. The materials are different.

In an Asian point of view, a village life means closer family values even extending to the 4th or 5th degree of consanguinity. Meaning if I live in that village, I still know my 4th and 5th cousins by their names, faces and even favorite food. A village has a direct leader like a baragay captain or village head and some officals to help him maintain peace and order. Unlike in cities, we cannot readily go to our city mayor and ask for his advice or help. We may not even have the luxury to meet him face to face in the duration of his term. Some villages are already technmology literate. They have electricity, water, computers, groceries not supermarkets, clinics not hospitals, TVs but not connected to the cable channels and no movie houses or theaters. But simple their life maybe, villages are more cleaner, greener, bio diversified plants and animals and you can simply enjoy the beauty of nature for free. No need to go to the zoo and pay entrance tickets. Hope these help. God bless!!! and Good luck to your debate.

Peace and quiet, Good values and family structures. A belief that you are truly part of a family structure were everyone cares for you. This is a world apart from the hustle and bustle of big city life were a person can stand next to you at a street corner and not even say hi. Its nice you should try it for a weekend trust me you wont want to go back to the rat race. (If you need a example watch the Andy Griffith Show.)
