The ref told Tressel he was just trying to protect the QB. No harm done. Game speed it looked helmet to helmet, but watching replay, it was a clean hit. Unfortunately, refs don't get that luxury, they have to make the call as soon as they see it. Texas had way more penalties, so you can't say the refs were biased.

Maybe you guys can get that referee from your Miami game, so he can come in and NOT call pass-interference on Chris Gamble.
No, in all seriousness, I was rooting for tOSU in that game, and if my Longhorns don't win it all this year, I wouldn't be opposed to seeing tOSU win it all. It just doesn't seem like it will happen. Big 10 is real competitive this year, Michigan is looking good (whether you tosu fans want to admit it or not.)
I think WVU is the only team that is a shoo-in to go undefeated. Leaving the second NC spot open to a one loss team. If tOSU loses to Michigan the last week of the season, that's going to cripple them. Texas, losing to #1 ranked tOSU at the begining of the season makes them the top ranked 1 loss team. We'll be back in the top 5 after this weekend (Assuming Florida & ND lose.)
Oh well, it's all good, there's alot of football left to be played.

it was f*cking horrible call, how can call that helmet to helmet contact,it looked more like helmet to facemask contact, but note this it would have been helmet to helmet if he would have lowered his head, but just before the moment of contact he lifted his head out of it,but s*it we still won the game 24-6 so I'm happy about that, but of course the ref would be bias because they were the Big 12 refs

I think it was a bad call cause it wasn't intent. I think that is where the call should be made on that and if he lead with his helmet. I saw a guy on Sunday spear a player and not get called.

That referee needs glasses. Actually, that referee needs to be fired. You or I would be if we were so incompetent at our jobs.
