I completely agree.
I have to admit, it takes the fun out of Christmas shopping a bit, because I love actually going out and going shopping, but at the same time, I quite like getting parcels in the post!!
If I'm ever buying books, DVDs, CDs of whatever, I always try the Internet first. If it's a prezzie it means you can either buy more, or just buy a DVD and it still looks like you spent £20, even if it was only a fiver!!
I'm always telling my parents to do it, but they don't trust this new fangled technology. And my brother's are too unorganised to think that far ahead in advance to take into consideration delivery time when it comes to birthdays and stuff. Oh well, their loss!!

It is for me, I live in Spain and can't get British quality goods, so use the net, EBay and Amazon all the time. For english language books, even with postage costs, it is still cheaper than the british shops here, they charge the earth for best seller books, and good music can be hard to come by in the shops here too

Most do not realize that you save gas and time too. Usually more than makes up for any shipping costs, especially when you can compare prices in 10 minutes instead of 4 hours.

Shopping online can save you a ton. But you have to beware of shipping costs and fraudulant websites. It's a lot faster to shop several websites than several stores.

I buy as much as I can online, apart from the convenience, it's nearly always substantially cheaper. Plus you don't have to battle hoards in shopping centres!

Definitely, I enjoy shopping online and I love the idea I'm shopping in Singapore or other faraway places.

It's cheaper providing you check. I saw an modelling item go on ebay yesterday for £19.90 + £3.65 postage. You can buy it new from any model shop for £13.99. Easy to get carried away.

it's definitely much cheaper if you know what you're after and the added benefit is you don't have to drag your *** 'round the shops mixing with the great unwashed, however, chicks I know don't like internet shopping because they like browsing and trying stuff on and all
only problem with internet shopping is it's causing smaller businesses to close down and lots of shops with character are finding it hard to compete 'cos they can't keep their prices down
