I think it is starring Danny Glover and there is a mermaid but I think she was supposed to be a murderer or she had some kind of curse on her. The last scene in this movie is of a tombstone I think. I saw this movie when I was like 8 and I never saw it again can someone please tell me what the title is?

Im not sure if it was him or not I was 8. This was not a childrens movie it was kind of a science fiction horro movie. I am 21 so I saw it like 13 years ago. it must ave come out in the late 80's cuz it was on regular tv

Umm... Are you sure it was Danny Glover? I mean, he's kind of hard to mistake at a glance. The only movie I know of with that type of progresson and theme that would date back to when I was 8 would be the old movie Treasure Island... But I can't recall a mermade in it or not... There was a movie (I think from Disney) out some time back, maybe 7 or 8 years ago with where a teenage boy was merm...man? Merman? Anyway, he used it for his swim team, then started turning into a full mermaid and things got weird, so I changed channels....
