im in the sh**iest mood right now and my friend lent me one flew over the cuckoos nest. is it a depressing movie? please tell me if it is so ill watch it when im in a better mood

Plot Summary for
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975)
McMurphy thinks he can get out of doing work while in prison by pretending to be mad. His plan backfires when he is sent to a mental asylum. He tries to liven the place up a bit by playing card games and basketball with his fellow inmates, but the head nurse is after him at every turn.

I am 43 ~ I watched this when I was in the 7th grade. I was in tears by the end of the movie. It isn't the best movie for someone in a bad mood. Go rent THE MAN or BENCHWARMERS ~ both are VERY funny movies

Actually it is a very good movie. Especially the way Jack Nicolson and the rest of the cast get along or don't get a long. A lesson in the learning is in this movie.

the Great Indian — he makes it at the end.
You MUST see this movie. It is very optimistic
at the end ...

Jack is great as always. I loved the movie. To me it was very humorous. Loved the part on the bus. Reminded me of some field trips I've been on with my colleagues. Just a bunch of nuts having a great time.

I would wait until you're in a better mood.
It is a great film with Jack Nicholson at his very best. It does have kind of an up beat ending but you have to sit through Jack getting shock treatments.

It is a great movie has very funny moments but sad ones too. Save it for another day. Go get a Adam Sandler movie, he will cheer you up.

But it depends indeed a lot on your mood, when you are depressed then everything could be depressing.
