Do you really think that Rockstar - Supernova or Inxs would really have a woman lead their band? Yeah, right.?

I said the same thing last night. As soon as Toby was elimated, I knew Lukas won. There was no way they would have picked Dilana!!

I thought that about INXS (although I truly thought JD was the best choice) - but INXS was different, they already had sh*tloads of hit songs from a male perspective.... I would've thought it strange to have a woman fronting the band. I don't think it would've worked.

With Supernova I think they made the right choice again. Both Dilana and Lukas were excellent, but Lukas is more suited for a band. Dilana will be an incredible solo artist and they had the foresight to see that. And girls... women.... why b*tch about decisions like this? Why should women have to fight to front a MALE band - as if that's the only way they're going to have any credibility. Here's hoping for more kick@ss female bands that change the way ppl think about them.... I think Dilana is a modern day Janis Joplin. If she can get her sh*t together and start writing better songs she will blow ppl's minds.

Rockstar Supernova definitely may not have chosen Dilana for the simple fact that each of the band members come from prior musical outfits that had as their major selling point male aggression and misogyny.

I don’t have a problem with a band discriminating between genders because it wants to express a more masculine edge to the audience. However, if you want to have a front man reinforce the male perspective and embody testosterone driven rage and bravado, Lukas Rossi is the least likely candidate for the job. For God sakes even the two leading females, Storm and Dilana, exude more of a masculine persona than Lucas, who in my opinion, is one step away from being a drag queen.

His eyeliner, teased and highlighted hair, and the glitter on his lips are the exact antithesis of a manly image. News flash to Tommy, Gilby, and Jason, the days of Poison and Warrant, where it was acceptable for men to wear rouge, are over. Now it is just gay to look the way Lukas does.

If you want to sell a lot of records in San Francisco or another gay strong hold, by all means have the effeminate Lukas as your front man. However, if you want to sell albums to the majority of Americans who are red blooded, woman loving, 20 to 40 something males, you should have chosen a rocker who exemplified the male like gusto you were looking for. In other words you should have chosen Toby, or even Magni, or any roughneck off the street over Lukas.

Congratulations Supernova. I am sure the same people who love “Will and Grace” will come out in droves to see you perform. I wonder what your album title will be…maybe its Just Jack!

I don't know about that but... Dilana is a great singer i don't think that she needs that band to suceed. She would be better fronting another band she kicks major @ss.

No they don't want to power of a women on stage with them, i believe a women could really help these bands, ans start a new age.
