Could be diet. Are you bolemic or anorexic. If
so, get psychiatric help. If not, you'd better see
a doctor.

You didn't say how old you were, so if you are really young - it could just be your body changing. Or if you are really old that too.

But.. if you have had your period pretty regularly - are not taking Birth control pills (or shots/patch ect) then it could be a medical issue or caused by stress.

When my sister gets stressed out - she stops bleeding altogether... When I get stressed out - I never stop bleeding - longest time on record 6 months strait - every single day.

I would suggest that you go to the doctor and get a physical either way and discuss it with your family doctor.. they can determine what the primary cause is and if it is stress releated, ways that you can de-stress your life.

I doubt that two preg tests could be wrong... besides by 5 months you would know if you were pregnant - because the little booger would be swimming around inside you and you would feel it.

Good luck and I will wish for the best for you.

You don't mention you weight or your age.

Women will often stop menstruating if they lose too much weight. That threshold is different for each woman. I had a friend who was slightly chunky in an athletic kind of way and if she lost weight her periods would stop, even if she didn't look "skinny". I imagine it had something to do with the muscle to fat ratio for her particular body type.

Women are supposed to be curvy, they are SUPPOSED to have a little bit of "fat" on them. Today's culture would have us all believe that there is something wrong with a truly curvy female body type but its very unhealthy for women to be stick skinny.

You should go see your OB/GYN or at least the family Dr. ASAP. It could be a cyst like others have mentioned or it could be your weight.

Good luck and Goddess Bless!

if the at home test were negative you should go to the doctor and have blood drawn and check this out. Unless you are close to menopausal age or on one of the newer birth control methods-the patch, depo shot or those new pills that you take for up to 12 weeks without a cycle this is not normal. stress, extreme exercise and eating disorders can also cause regulation problems. good luck and get to a doctor ASAP.

We can't answer your question, if you are so worried there are educated professionals to help you. For a matter like this people over the net aren't who you should be asking.

If you are concerned enough to question that here, maybe going to your ob and having it looked at would be better. We can't tell you what's happening inside you.

Have you dropped a lot of body fat? If so, that could be it. You really should see a doctor, though.
