Although I love the van Helsing soundtrack, much of the credit is a tie between Ben-Hur by Miklos Rosza and the wonderful Conan soundtrack, which put Basil Polidouros back in Hollywood. B.

My favorite is the 'Pulp Fiction' soundtrack. It fits perfectly with the story, characters and general mood of the film. It edges in the ridiculous but it feeds from it making the film satirical and giving it a sense of bubblegum philosophy. It takes songs from disco, country/western, rock and pop a selection of works that can only be bound together by the film. The soundtrack as the film doesn't take itself too seriously.

Donnie Darko Soundtrack.
The double CD has the original score and soundtrack. The music on the soundtrack is pretty much all 80's music which is bomb. The score is beautiful, I just lay in my bed listening to it all the time.
