How is it "becoming a dictatorship"? That is a bit of overblown hyperbole. Would a dictator yield to the decision of a Supreme Court? Would a dictator bother with elections? Would a dictator get on TV and try to convince people that his course is the right one?
No, a dictator does not need to bother with any of that.
Now, be so kind as to point out exactly HOW the US is becoming a dictatorship.

The unfortunate circumstances of our government create an impossible situation. To actually impeach a president is a tough feat. The politicians no longer work for the people in our country, they work for their political party and their own agendas. No matter what the people of American think or want as our representation, the big businesses lining the pockets of our government get to call the shots. The entire basis our country was founded on has been totally manipulated and corrupted.

Read the book, Constitutional Dictatorship by Clinton Rossiter.
He explains it alot better then i can.
In a nutshell, no Democracy has ever gone through a time of crisis or peril without the head Executive using more power than is expressed to him.

We have elections and laws, while the present administration chooses to ignore these laws we have an election coming up that will decide whether this nation will survive. We had better replace the repuglican majority to restore checks and balances to the government or we will have a dictatorship on our hands.

Because too many of us have our heads up the rectum of terror. We got so used, over the years, to never being seriously threatened, that when 9/11 happened, too many of us simply reacted in a blind panic, and an already-corrupt Administration was given a miraculous pass just so long as a would-be King George promissed, in his smarmy, slimy way to whup them turrusts plumb to hail - we mouthed in unison "Yea, Lord, deliver us from Eee-vil!" as if George the Fellator were God himself. It has been said that Americans need a Hitler to tell us what to do - George's longevity in office proves the adage.
