I do it because I enjoy pursuing knowledge if there is any to be gleaned from Y A.
So far,I have learned quite a few things from a lot of
folks who are" in the know" about different subjects.
Other times,I just feel the need to voice an opinion
when answering questions,but I always keep it in context to the question.
As surely as I have need to see just how base and cruel,or just plain stupid people are in here,I also have the need to see how brilliant and engaging others
can be as well.
I prefer the 'left side of the brain' stuff myself.

No, I don't work due to a serious accident several years ago, everyone I know works full time, I have tried several times to get my dog to talk to me just for a bit of light conversation, but she isn't having any of it, so I come on here for a bit of light relief, to keep the old grey cells working and to try to help people and pick up more of the good tips I have done so far, fun is what makes the world go round and this a great place for a good old laugh.

yes, all the time, like right now. I have homework to do but I am answering your question instead LOL I guess by answering it helps make me feel important because I have something to say and others read it and could potentially pick me as best answer. For some reason this sort of format is just addicting and pretty cool!

I hardly see it as a "need." I just take a peek when i have something to ask, or a few minutes to maybe "meet" someone decent I would otherwise never know existed. Hard to separate the morons from the good people sometimes, but if one spends enough time on any forum, he can find good people who share his interests.

Today I sure as hell do. For some reason, the ignorance seems to be even more omnipresent than usual.
