Sin is sin...right. The good news is that Christ died for all sins. You can be forcgiven for anything. The only thing you can't be forgiven of is not accepting Him as your Lord and Savior. God will not look past that.

Homosexuality is not something you choose, or change. No one just wakes up one day and says, "Hey, I think I want to be gay". If a human can be born with both sets of genitals than why can't you believe that they can be born with a sexual attraction for the same sex? Have you ever been in love with a woman? If you have than imagine if you felt that for another male. Would you be able to hide it, or make it go away. If you have ever experienced true love than you would understand. What do you think it's like for us? It's not easy. We have to deal with people like you every single day. If we could choose not to go through this don't you think we would?

Hi Billy...whether or not homosexuality is a sin consider your own words (for those who want to follow in the path of the Christian Churches):

So I can be a non-heterosexual and still loved and forgiven my sins by God as long as I accept JC as my Lord and Saviour.

You are preaching the opposite of what Jesus taught - Therefore you are preaching an Anti Christian message.
Jesus said if you blaspheme against the Father and the Son you'll be forgiven but if you blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, you never be forgiven either in Heaven or on Earth.
You will only be forgiven if you are truly repentant. And it's not your place to say that you can be forgiven for anything, mortal man. That's why God is known as God Almighty and Billy F is not called Billy F. Almighty.

Because murder, theft and lying go directly against God's law (the 10 commandments) and homosexuality only goes against the law of Moses.

Homosexuality is only a sin in the eyes of those who believe God is a vengeful old man who is to be feared. I on the other hand know God is not the God portrayed in the Bible, he is loving and I don't believe for one minute he sees gays as sinful or evil. So the question then becomes, who's right. Well, funny thing belief, everyone has different takes, so again who's right? The only truth about any of this is that old men thousands of years ago, for whatever reason wrote books and laws to subjugate the masses. They're still doing it today. Everything else is just hearsay, and that is not proof. So I can and will repeat that God does not see homosexuality as sin because I don't BELIEVE he does. That is my right, my God Given Right.

Because I don't believe that was one of the 10 commandments, idiot. Besides who asked you to keep score? God? Did he say hey ****** I'm having trouble keeping track of who thinks homosexuality is a sin, would you do it for me? Really, aren't there more important things in this world to think about (and harass) people about other than being Gay? Shouldn't you focus your attention on, oh I don't know, NOT JUDGING OTHERS LIFESTYLES, perhaps you should read Ecclesiastes 5:2 and then you should Shut the _ _ _ _ up! Remember those who judge will be judged, God will not look past this.

The first thing that comes to mind is that all those sins you mention are specifically prohibited in the Ten Commandments. Homosexuality is not. There is also considerable disagreement within the Christian community about the often cited Biblical passages mentioning homosexuality. Some religions (or some factions within those religions) say that those passages do not refer to what we currently think of as homosexuality, but rather refer to the rituals of cults active at the time the Bible was written.

Because murder, theft, and lying and others like that have victims. Having said that, in our society they aren't recognised as sins by everyone, because the idea of sin doesn't exist for everyone. They become crimes when they cause harm to other people in unfair ways.
Homosexuality doesn't cause harm to people. The only people involved in a homosexual relationship are the two men/two women. Anyone else who thinks it involves them is sticking their nose in where it doesn't belong.
BTW, for a Christian, you've got a skewed idea of how it all is supposed to work. It's not that God supposedly punishes people for not accepting Jesus, it's supposed to be that Jesus died on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice, because before Jesus, the only way to be "cleansed of sin" was to sacrifice animals.
Supposedly, to the christian faith, Jesus died so that through him we can come to god, by accepting him that supposedly makes his sacrifice be for your sins too.
For someone who doesn't seem to have a huge understanding of their own religion, you seem pretty keen on using it to make a point that falls over itself pretty easy....

because it is not a sin before you open your bible tonight read this and ask your self could it be true Jesus is quoted many times in the Bible saying that a believer can ask for anything through prayer and receive it. He even goes so far as to say that mountains and trees can be thrown into the sea simply by praying for it. This is clearly a lie, and can be proven to be a lie by any believer. Simply pray for me to be converted to Christianity right away. Or better yet ask God to move the mountains behind my house. He could make a lot of converts that way. If I’m converted today, I’ll post a public apology on my web site and devote my life to kissing God’s ***. If I’m not converted it would only be fair for you to apologize and devote your life to kissing my butt.

God created and loves as all...and He makes no mistakes! If God didn't create homosexuals, there wouldn't be any. How dare you assume the role of God and pass judgment on others!

No one is harmed in a mutually consenting homosexual act. The actions of two consenting adults in (hopefully) the privacy of their own room can in no way compare with murder, theft of even lying, all of which actually or potentially harm others.
If God made us then it must have been God who gave us the ability or potential to be homosexual. The natural conclusion anyone would draw from that is that your God is a closet gay.
I would suggest that a far greater sin than homosexuality is forcing your values and beliefs on others. The really good news is that no-one is really bothered by your psuedo-religious hogwash anymore so why don't you go get a life?
