Just write the musician care of his/her record company, or send him/her an e-mail via his/her web site if it allows you to.

You can't. Such details are kept confidential so that they won't be bothered by fans and others. If you want to write to them do it care of the record company or fan club but beware. Not all musicians will answer personally and often some lackey in the office will pen a reply which you think is genuine but is not.

Try Myspace. Lot of bands got pages on there and you can be added as a friend on there friend list, then you can send messages and get updates about the band.
