I asked a question yesterday about conflicting pregnancy test results, so to ease my mind I took another test this morning with my first morning pee and it turned out negative......could the first one have been a false positive? I know they're rare, but I don't want my husband all excited over nothing. Has this happened to anyone using a digital test? Has the digital said "pregnant" and the traditional ones with the lines said no? If so, were you indeed pregnant?

This happened to me as well. I am a lab tech and it is important to use concentrated urine for the test, or first morning. If your urine is dilute, it can definitely cause a false neg result. I would trust the one that said positive. Congrats!!! The home pregnancy tests are pretty accurate and work as well as the ones in the lab (if using urine).

your best bet is to go get a blood test. Just tell your doctor that you had a positive pregnancy test and then you took one the next day and it was neg. Blood tests are a sure fire way to know exactly what is going on!! Good Luck

I would definately go for a blood test. That's more accurate then home pregnancy tests, especially since you got positive yesterday and a negative today. Sounds kinda suspicious to me, so go get a blood test done to ease your mind.

You should go to the doctor and get a Blood Test. They are more accurate results. Good luck to you.

no it never happen to me
but for you to insure that you don't have another problem would probably best to see your GYN
