Picture it, it is 1940 something. The setting is somewhere in the South Pacific. You have a sultry lounge singer working at a hotel/ nightclub called the Gold(en) Monkey. When she's not singing, she is a government spy for the United States tracking the people who visit the hotel. (It is being used as a secret meeting place for the bad guys.) Trouble ensues, and with the help of the exfighter pilot, turned commercial pilot Jake and his mechanic/ friend Rusty, they help her save the day.
As an additonal note, Jack wore the eye patch because of Jake's gambling habit. He used to have a jewlwed glass eye (I kid you not) which Jake used to cover a bet, and Jack never let him forget it.

yes, I remember that programme, I really liked it, with Jack and Jake, there was a lady he sort of dated and an older man I think, I think they were looking for the Golden Monkey, it was a lost treasure, but I can't quite remember, I was quite young.
