When I open the internet on my father's computer it displays the whole internet page so I can't get to Tools and then Internet Options to fix my original problem (no pictures showing up on the internet, just little red x's in boxes. See my previous question.)
My father uses Microsoft '98 and AVG Free Advisor Anti Virus Spyware. His Privacy is set to Medium.
Any ideas on how I can fix this problem (need to see File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, Help) for him????

In IE go to Tools -> Delete Browsing History. You can also click on the red X to the right of the urls and this will remove them from the History section in the address bar. Feran, Internet Exploer Outreach Team

There are double arrows on the right side of the screen- click on those and click on enable and disable features. The little red X's indicate that the pop up blocker has been turned off- go up to tools and click on allow pop up blocker. To get the tool bar go up to view and click on tool bars or status bar if you want just the regular bar.

You may have changed your view to full screen, first click the restore down button (the button between the X and -) and see if it comes back, if this isnt the case, click the view and toolbars tab and make sure it is checked.
