It is difficult to totally porn-proof your computer. Even if you disable the internet connection, someone can always pop in a disk!

To start, however, I'd set my security settings to maximum, install a good firewall/antivirus/antispy software combo, and use one of the porn-protection softwares available from, say, www.download.com. There are free/shareware ones also. Most of them work from experience though so it might take a while but they should help.

Finally, it would help if you put the internet-enabled computer in an easily visible place such as a living room rather than a bedroom and/or put a security password in the ones that aren't easily visible.

When that happens on my system I format the hard-disk-drive then reinstall from the backup Cd's I burn information to on a regular basis.
also both answers above mine are valid approaches I like mine because even the best security software is can be bypassed disabled and or removed or become infected itself so I prefer not to take any chances.

If this happens automatically while you work, it's spyware/malware

go to this page : http://free.grisoft.com

and download the free antivirus and the ewido anti-spyware

if you want to limit the entry to these pages, look for a program like NET-NANNY or similar.
