I consider myself to be conservative, but would never vote for someone who didn't 'feel' right. We all know all politicians lie to get elected--so I go with my gut. I have and will continue to cross party lines because no ONE person or party will share all my views exactly--so I go with the lesser of the (two) evils.

I personally find both parties out of touch with America. The Republicans are too far right and the Democrats are too far left. Both parties are being lead by the far wings of their party. I blame it honestly on folks like Limbaugh/FOX News/Liberal Radio because to get on the radio, you need to be controversial. And to be controversial, you need to be far right or left. 80% of america is moderate or in the middle, but that voice is getting drowned out. Then every election, both parties candidates move to the middle (did anyone think that Bush or Kerry was moderate about anything?). I just wish we had a third party. We missed a golden chance in 2000 when John McCain didn't run as an independent.

That's completely up to you and how you feel about Republicans positions on issues that matter to you. The main thing, though, is to make sure you think for yourself and believe what you believe and don't just mindlessly follow anyone else's ideas. Also, I'd suggest not asking people on Yahoo Answers... Most of these people are nuts.

It is if you like what's going on in the world today. Republicans control the House, Senate, White House and Supreme Court. If you like what you see, go republican.

There are good Republicans, and bad Republicans.
If you are a member of any party, do your best to make it the best.

Try going to or finishing school so you can read and write properly and then you might understand the answers you'll get to your question.
