If I were to spend a year Moon chasing, following a full moon would I change as a person and if so would it be a positive change?
If the following year I was to avoid the full moon would my experiances be significantly different?

Lunatics are called so because of the accociation with their behaviour and the moons cycle, Although I am not a Lunatic does it effect my behavior and the fact that we are made of 80% water must mean the moon effects us in the same way as it effects the tides, surely?
Sensible answers please.

The idea that the moon affects our behavior is a myth. Sure, we've all heard the tales about how emergency rooms are busier during full moons and so forth... problem is, they've done studies on that stuff, and found those tales to be untrue.

The moon doesn't have any special effect on water. Its gravity causes tides, yes, but tides happen because you have oceans of water spanning most of the globe, and the stuff can flow freely from one part of the globe to another. The moon's gravitational effect on a human being would be the same as its effect on a bucket of water sitting on your back porch: none whatsoever.

You wouldn't be changed at all by chasing the moon for a year. (How do you chase the moon anyway? The moon is in the same phase everywhere on earth at any given time). Well, okay, the placebo effect might still apply, but the placebo effect doesnt change people into werewolves.

By asking this question, it probably can "affect" you. Although it will all be mental and not be an "effect" of the moon at all. But you will believe it is an "effect" of the moon just like lunatics do.

It will be kinda hard to follow the moon because you'd have to circumnavigate the earth in 24 hours every single day. Unless you've got a plane and lots of money and fuel, it'll be probably best to just wake up at night and hide inside the house during the day. Don't worry about full moon because it is just the reflection from the sun. The whole moon and its "effects" is in front of you even if it's in new moon phase. Will it be a positive effect? No.

1st of all you'd be crazy and we'll just accept that crazy is a negative change.
2nd, you'd be nocturnal and being that most of your friends are not. It's gonna be a conflict on your social life.

Avoiding the full moon will have absolutely no "effects" on you. But again just by asking the question, it may "affect" you in a mental way.

Sensible answers require senible questions. Sorry, but your question does not make any sense at all.

First of all, the moon can't 'effect' you. Effect is a noun. You're looking for 'affect', the verb.

Secondly, how does one go about 'chasing' the moon? Are you going to run around the earth so fast the moon is constantly directly over your head? Or are you going to get in a spacecraft and follow it in orbit around the earth??

Then you ask about changes in you, asking if you will see a 'positive' change. Positive in what way? Height? Mass? IQ?

Sorry to flame ya, but geez, think before you write!

When you say what you mean and mean what you say, then we can have a valid discussion.

"Also the fact that we are made of 80% water must mean the moon effects us in the same way as it effects the tides, surely? "

Tides happen because of gravity and the fluid nature of water, not because the moon has any special effect on water that it doesn't have on any other kind of matter.

The moon's gravity is pretty much constant on you whereever you are.

I don't know what "Moon chasing" is, but it sounds like you'd be a lot more fit after a year of it.

What do you mean by moon chasing?

At full moon, it is only the amount of relected sunlight that is different, the moon is the same size, distance etc as ever, so there is unlikely to be any change in effect

I believe that all that travel would probably make for alot of stress and that would make for a negitive experience so you would probably go mental after enoth time of chasing/running from anything even the moon.

Yes if you spent a year chasing a full moon you would be significantly changed, the change would be a negative one, you would be totally shattered!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think if you tried to live at the bottom of the ocean you might notice some difference.
