and is not charged with attempted murder. She kept the 13 & 9 yr olds home from school, which leads me to believe is was pre-meditated & drugged them & their 4 yr old brother. Her family said she knew what she was doing & she was trying to kill them. Why wouldnt she be charged with attempted murder?? Instead they are giving her on three counts each of corrupting another with drugs and contaminating food.

Omg they should hang the witch..i have a 4 year old i totaly cherish..and love..i raised my two younger brothers who i love dearly theres no way id ever hurt them..some people are sick..and it makes me cry to think of how people treat there children..and whats even sadder is all those people who cant have children and want them and you think of all those unloved kids just wanting a hug.makes you grab yours and hugg them tight

That is terribly tragic news. As far as what's wrong with people today, they are too busy fretting over what's wrong and not busy enough making strides to better society as a whole. I am not intending for this to offend anyone. It just seems to me that I personally have got myself into a position where I can do something about the wrong doings in my county, why can't more people w/morals and a conscience do the same? The woman who drugged her children will be punished worse than anyone can imagine b/c none of us will live forever and when her judgement day comes, well, you know the rest. Hope I shed some light on the subject or at the very least, motivated someone to do something about the way society is today.

I think some sections of society is not only breaking down but people R becoming quite mad in the process.
I agree, why isn't she being prosecuted 4 attempt murder, or is the old excuse Munchhausen's by Proxy.

Just last night in NYC, Matt Lauer did an interview with Debra LaFave, the 23 yr old teacher who had sex with a 14yr old boy on three occasions. She got off (so to speak) from doing prison time and is in a 3 yr house arrest lockdown with a ankle alarm attached. Notwithstanding the fact that, if it was a guy he woulda went away for 45 years, i asked myself the same question: WHY ISNT THAT BIITCH IN PRISON?
Because it was alleged she suffered from bi-polar? Its crazy.

Whats wrong with people today is they don't have God in their lives. They have forgotten what true charity is. No one prays as much as they should... People have become careless, lazy, and greedy.
All we can do is pray for everyone, love everyone, not push God on them (that helps no one, just starts fights/anger) but be there when they have questions... with the grace of God and prayer, we can help... If not everyone, we can help one person at a time, one soul for God is better than none!

That's f*cked up. I don't think people should have kids if they're not going to try to be the best parent possible. I hate it when I hear stories about that stuff. Kids are so young and innocent, they deserve a fair chance at life.

Sshe should be in jail I have no idea why a judge wouldn't put such a dangerous person in jail. I certainly hope they take the kids from her.
I wish I knew what was wrong with some people ~ they are just sick.

I remember this lady was on Oprah that did the same thing. She gave them some crushed sleeping medicine in their bottles to, in her words "calm them down" because they were driving her crazy.
People are just totally f*cked up
