We met in a local bar a few months back, and we hit it off straight away, She was a little big built, and didn't have a lot of confidence, and was only out due to it being her sisters hen night.
After a few weeks, she told me, that when she left school, she was offered work as a model, but her "agent" turned out to be a monster, she was caught in a trap, he said if she was under contract to do shoots that he decided she'd do, and if she refused he would sue her.. So she turned to comfort eating, and binge drinking, as she was gaining weight he beat her, and abandoned her so her family got involved and "rescued her".
A week after she told me that she decided to go on a diet, and lose the extra weight, the diet worked and after a few weeks she started to get attention from people and she started to change.
Last week she told me that she never wanted to see me again, and just left, a friend of ours told me she was with another man, and was pregnant with his child.

Yes, she was feeling depressed, but I talked to her, helped her through it, I helped her to raise her moral back up, now her thanks to me doing that is to leave me, and refuse to speak to me again.
I found out last night, that the bloke who's child she's carrying is married with kids, so he was forced into choosing, and he's broke off with her, and back with his wife.. so she's now alone again, and pregnant. if she comes crawling back I'll be her friend, but nothing more..

Well that sucks, but thank your lucky stars that you saw her true colors BEFORE you got married. You can do much better. Don't settle for less than what you deserve.

Well, frankly, if she refuses to talk to you and have already left, there isn't much you can do, can you?
But if you're wondering what the heck happened there? Here is my conjecture:
If your assumptions of her is accurate, and she is a person with low confidence and a monster-boss, her binge-eating is no suprise. She was most probably in depression when you met her.
With her confidence restored by your attention and the disapperance of the monster-boss, she has either decided that you are too nice for her lifestyle or went looking for greener pastures. Either way, she is gone, and you should move on too!

You explained everything pretty well. Do you have a question to go with this story? I'm assuming you're wondering what to do now? Go on a dating site and meet someone else. She isn't the last girl on earth. There are alot of weird chicks out there. Just forget it. She doesn't sound like a good catch anyway. You'll probably meet some much better. Life isn't over. If that story she gave you is true, she probally has deep rooted mental and emotional problems and isn't someone who would make you happy in the long run anyhow, and if she made the story up then I still say she has deep rooted mental problems and you are better off without her.

your best bet is to move on, she used you to build up her confidence I just hope she didnt fleece you for to much money, your next move is to send her cream cakes and jam doughnuts, the temptation will be to great and soon she will be back to her lardy self, and you go out with your mates get drunk and get laid. when the right one comes along you will know.

sorry to say this but it sounds like she is insecure and in need of attention.
If she wont speak to you then as hard as it may be you need to move on, go out and enjoy some time with friends.
