My problem is this I dont have any ties to the car its just that a Geo Is a cheap car that I dont want to invest a whole bunch in to begin with if I have to do that I might as well have bought a new car , to which I could not afford to begin with. The idea is to get in as cheap as I can I know this can be done I just need the right person out there who is sitting on parts speciffically the clutch disc , for this geo which I found fits some samuri models and sprints too .

You can buy a clutch kit at any auto parts store. When you replace the clutch, you should always replace the pressure plate and bearing too, that is why they come together in a kit. There is no way to visually be sure that the pressure plate is good, all it takes is one bad spring and the clutch will wear out prematurely.

You can buy the whole kit for a little over $100

If you are going to do the job (or have it done), do it right!!!

Ok, I've been dealing with clutches for years, and I have never heard of a clutch disc. Do you mean the drive plate.

If so, you need to buy a new plate and clutch body, so that the drive plate and pressure plate bed together correctly.

Go to your local autozone, napa, pep boys.

Sorry if you cant handle the truth. It so hard to take it apart you should replace all clutch parts at once or you will waste $ doing it over and over. truth.

geos only cost like 1,000 dollors and a new part might cost more than that, geos are ment to be a verry cheep car, but if you have an emotional attachment i guess you could get one from a junk yard
