because we are the stronger sex, and have much higher pain thresholds.therefore we have the babies and so have to have the periods. if men had babies and periods the world would come to an end, cos theyd never have more than one child and would take to their beds each month as they would be "bleeding to death" its so unfair, we get all the pain,stress, stretchmarks etc etc and what do men have to go through? receeding hairlines/balding is the worst i can think of. lifes a *****. but just console yourself that its this way cos we re superior to them.

Maybe it was because of Eve committing the first sin. I seem to remember a verse in Genesis where God tells Eve that He will increase her pains in childbearing as part of her punishment for eating the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil...

I guess God designed it that way, but I hesitate to say this because it will give the feminists another reason to be angry at God over their fate.
(I take exception to Vicky A's comments above about men having it easy. Yeah, we don't have periods, but there are plenty of pressures and burdens we have to bear also, lady.)

If we are to believe the Bible then Eve is the culprit. She had to go and eat THAT apple didn't she!!!! Any way who'd want to be a man what with dribbling in old age due to swollen prostate, ever growing ears (have you noticed how big they are in old guys?), and finally nose and ear hair!!!! Nuff said.

Blame Eve! She ate the stupid apple and God gave us pain in childbirth and periods!! Men have it easy.

it because were females and have baby's and the good lord made that way men couldn't take the pain and do not have the body to have a baby

i dont belive in this but someone once told me its because eve picked the apple of the forbidden fruit tree so thats our punishment for taking the apple

We have all heard blokes complain about ball ache, do you really think that they can handle a period? They're bad enough when they get man-flu!!!
