He should play, he's a great outside shooter.

Kobe is a great baller, but he has serious issues with playing as a team... He is all about playing for himself, and he's a show boat. The olympic team is not a great place for those types of players.

I mean US should win this hands town, but one of hte reasons we don't take hom the Gold is because you put a bunch of All Stars on the court and they show boat, instead of team play. A lot of these guys, Kobe for sure, don't understand the "team" concept.

Kobe is good, but is not a team player. The Lakers will continue to have problems until it finally sinks in, that basketball is a team effort. Maybe Kobe could have helped, maybe not, it does not matter now anyway.

I think he will, he has intentionally/unintentionally missed so many opportunities to play in USA basketball. The USA team sent out their best this past summer, and proved they still aren't good enough for a gold. Kobe would make things interesting, as we know the team still didn't have all its best out there with him on the sidelines. We will know the truth once team USA has its full squad intact, so he must play to find out.

if we wouldve had kobe we woulda won the world championships HE DOESNT MISS OPEN SHOTS!!!!! its pure and simple lebron d-wade and mello all went ice cold on the offensive end where kobe never does and by the way if i were lebron or kobe id break your nose for comparing me to that filthy thug micheal jordan the greatest player in the history of the game is and was and probably always will be wilt "the stilt" chaimberlain even by micheals own admission he won defensive player of the year by punching people in the stumache "just a fast finger jab into an opponents solo plexus and then he will be afraid to shoot on you the rest of the night"

play of course. Kobe wont allow us to lose in the forth quarter, not with D-Wade, Bron, Melo with him and Chris Paul and all the others. Kobe = Gold

He'll definitely make a difference to the outcome of the game in crucial moments, but I don't think the other guys want him in if they can help it.
