it's an association in which i used to take part but once a long time ago (months) i had a date with one of the members that didn't end ok (it was my fault) but i'd like to go to the meetings, would you?

Yep. But you should try to amend the beef that happened with that member first. Let that member know it was your fault and that you're sorry. This will make the atmosphere at the meetings just right for you to get back in to.

dont worry about it... so what if you had a date with one of the members, im sure it wont bother him, so just go and have fun... he probably wont even think about it and will just be happy that theres no friction between you both!
