After all we found them useful 300 years ago and their contributions helped make the USA what it is today.

I think that every country needs to do what is right for their people. If there is surplus labor in any country, why isn't the government there doing all it can to help create more and better jobs?
If the people in one country are trying to get to America, would it not be simpler to fix the problems there, instead of running away from them?
American loves to have good people, hard workers, innovative thinkers. We have always welcomed people to our country.

I suggest we take that surplus labor and put it in Iraq & Afghanistan to help rebuild the infrastructure there. Those 2 countries could pay them out of their oil and poppy profits.

Why don't Africa use it's vast resources to better itself , instead of holding it's people down with tribal warfare all the time .
Of course we could bring a few million over here , take jobs away from our own citizens , give the Africans the jobs and put our own on welfare .
I suggest , you bring one over , give him your job and you go on welfare , first .

Oh this question is wrong on so many levels. First, by putting the "U" in labor you probably aren't an American so don't say "WE found them useful. Secondly, why pay to have laborers shipped over here when they walk across our borders for free already.
