A pint of trust as without this a relationship is doomed you can't be insecure about each other.
Afew teaspoons of loyalty as no one wants to be committed to a cheater.
A hint of jealousy you do want your patner to get a little bit jealous now again just so you know he wants you.
A 100g of sex what relationship is good without this major ingredient?
And then add a sprinkle abit of affection, passion, "kindness", unerstandment, and a whole lotta love.
And a 5 teaspoons of communication skills
Mix all up in a bowl but it in the love machine oven and walla!!!
That was fun lol

Well, I used to look at my parents marriage, and think that I could do a lot better than that. I mean, they didn't seem to have a lot of respect for each other, patience was definitely lacking, trust was selective, and communications seems stilted. And I remember thinking that the very essentials of a relationship hasn't been achieved by my parents, after 29 years of marriage.
That was before I got into a relationship. It was easier to analyse, but a lot harder to experience. Now I know that somehow, they did get the essentials in the rite balance. Yes, they argue, but not of lack of communication, but difference of opinion. And the arguments are a reason for them to make up, bringing them closer. If it seemed like they barely tolerated each other, it's because they knew each other's irritating quirks and their redeeming qualities. If it looked like they didn't trust, it wasn't expected anymore, because it was long given to each other.
They had no secrets, no fears, no lies. They just loved unquestioningly, and still do. That openess, is what I envy and want to achieve in my relationship.

A little bit of me and a whole lot of you,
add a dash of lemon and a dozens roses too,
then let it lay for a hundred years or two
and that's the recipe for making love!!
It doesn't need sugar 'cause it's already sweet
It doesn't need an oven 'cause it's got a lot of heat
Just add a dash of kisses to make it all complete
And that's the recipe for making love

Yum Yum
