I had my last shot in February and still haven't had any sign of a menstrual cycle yet. Pregnancy tests came back negative. Is this normal? Also, can one become pregnant before having a period again after coming off of Depo or does it remain in your system longer?

Delay in the return to fertility. It may about six months after an injection for fertility to return, and up to two years in some cases
& yes one can become pregnant before having a period again after coming off of Depo because ovulation returns first before menstruation
and u can even get pregnant while ur on depo you ask how?
ok..........Depo Provera does not provide a steady dose of hormone to prevent contraception. The levels are high straight after the injection and then the hormone levels decline
Drugs such as Rifampicin and anticonvulsant medicines may reduce the effectiveness of Depo Provera, particularly towards the end of the injection cycle. It is recommended injections be given every 10 weeks, instead of every 12 weeks in these cases

Since your last shot wore off in May, it has only been 4 months. It can take a while to get back to normal.

And yes, you can get pregnant while not having a period. It isn't common after depo, but it does happen.
The average time to return to "normal " and have your period again is anywhere from 8-18 months. Some a little more, some a little less.

Make sure to talk to your Dr. about your concerns.

It took me almost a year and a half to get pregnant after I got off of Depo. It also took awhile for me to get a regular cycle as well. So it could be awhile but have fun trying to get pregnant.
