After climax I have pain...?

...in my lower abdomen, for the last few weeks.
The doc gave me antibiotics thinking I have a UTI but why would it hurt after orgasm?
It's a really dull ache across the front of my pelvic region and I can feel it in my lower back.

I asked the GYN and she didn't really seem to address the prob so I went to my family doc.

when you orgasm your uterus contracts to dip your cervix into the male ejaculate (if its there :) if you have an infection somewhere, uterus, urinary tract, ovaries, fallopian tubes, cervix or wherever, that could cause pain, but definately dont stop asking questions of your doctors until you are satisfied with the answers!!!

how long have you been on the medication? because yes that will cause Paine have you ever heard of kegels? after your feeling better try them and you will see how and where it will effect your pelvic area.

I had that same problem and it turned out i had bladder infection and my urethra tube, the tube that drains from your kidney was dilated. they found it by putting dye through my veins. a dilated urethra tube it very painful.

i had this all my life and they had to take out the female parts and i was only 23 good luck they didnt know what caused it either
