I think it depends on how many scenes they do and how many acts they are willing to perform. For example, actresses willing to do more taboo things would make more than the ones who are more into traditional sex. I honestly don't know how you'd find out an average. I'm sure it isn't nearly enough, unless you're a mega star like say Jenna Jameson.

It also depends where the film is made.
Very low if it's made in the UK and fairly good money if in the US.
I know of a porn actress "Simone Claire" and she is doing escorting work, due to the movie work is not very good pay in the UK.
