NO, DONT DO IT. IF THE ROMANCE ENDS THE FRIENDSHIP WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN. I DID THE SAME WITH MY BEST FRIEND AND WE WERE TOTALLY IN LOVE BUT FAMILY PRESSURES MEANT BE COULDNT BE TOGETHER. ANYWAY, WE ENDED IT AND HAVE COMPLETELY LOST OUR FRIENDSHIP. ITS SO MUCH BETTER TO HAVE THAT PERSON AS YOUR BEST FRIEND THAN TO NOT HAVE THEM IN YOUR LIFE AT ALL.

i went out with my best friend and weve been together for two years still going strong. We broke up early on and then got back together. In that time apart we were still best friends. It is a good idea but at your own risk

i went out with my best friend and we are still married 15 + years on with two kids. Being good friends helps a relationship but only you can really decide if he is the one for u

It's one of the perks,.. if you have a friend who you've known for some time,.. ie a few years etc,.. and you can both admit you have feelings for each other,.. then it's a natural progression,.. go with the flow,. you know you get along well already; so the next stage is to become intimate with them,.. but take it slowly,. talk to eacxh other, be open, honest, clear in what you both want/expect and just have fun spending time with them,... :o)

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
It may be awkward after for a while but you will most probably both realise if you were meant to be "Just Friends".
I did this and we are still good friends, we have a laugh about it now!

if is just to go out and have funit is. but if you are confused about your feelings for that person i don't think it is a good idea. before you need to be clear. i used to go out with my best frien and had lots of fun. Good luck!!!

It can be, since you will know each other really well.
But on the other hand, no. You could break up and ruin the friendship.
It's up to you if you want to risk it. Do you think it's highly likely that the relationship will work out? Do you think it will be really awkward if you broke up?

i did it and it was the worst thing i ever did because now the friendship is not the same!
but maybe it will be diffrent for you, but the majority of the time it never works!
