Probably not! You typically see palms in warm climates like Florida and Hawaii (zones 8, 9 for example)... not in places like a zone 6 (I used to live in zone 6).

The only place I ever saw a palm tree growing outside in that zone was in a greenhouse (or conservatory). It is just too cold for them in zone 6 and would probably die in the winter. If I didn't die, it would suffer pretty badly and look horrible, then probably eventually die anyway.

Sorry there aren't any palms available for you.. they are quite nice!!

Absolutely!! Visit your local garden centre as they will carry the appropriate ones.
Also check your area for a "Palm Club".
Even where you get some cold weather Palm tree lovers wrap their babies in burlap and are very successful in over wintering them.
