I was reading this and noted that the photo of the Taleban fighter in the truck was odd. If he is real, then he is a Giant. I guess he is over 7 feet tall. Is this a fake photo by AP?

He doesn't look that tall.
One photographer working in the Lebanon for Reuters was sacked last month for doctoring photos (adding extra smoke).
It was such an easy-to-spot hoax but it passed through the agency's own editorial system and some newspapers used the photograph.
Doctoring a news photo in this way is an easy way to never work again; so I doubt that the photo is doctored - not so soon after the Lebanon photograph caused reverberations in news desks across the world.

It wouldn't be the first time, but it looks like he's holding the roll bar, and his head isn't really disproportionate is it?
