maybe just maybe they learnt somethig on the way to getting old. And maybe just maybe they love you enough to not want you to learn it the hard way. You dont have to like it but when they are doing it cause they love try to accept it. There is time enough when you get older to make all the mistakes you wanna

oooh my god I know a part of the aparment building I live in is half full of the eldery and they gossip and spread rumors thank god next year I am moveing out of here.

They are not as spry as they used to be and so, some have given up and prefer to be sedintary

they were brought up differently, and what we think is normal, it was the worst that they cud do when they were young!
