I'd guess that you're emotionally unavailable and really don't want to have a romantic partner. By "falling" for men that are not available to you, then you never experience the reality of give and take that relationshops require. You don't expose yourself to the risk of being hurt because, after all, he's unattainable.
Look within yourself and ask "Why do I only want what I can't have?"
